Plumo, the parrot, uses the zoo as a background to teach children 3-5 years old the following:- Recognize colors - Complete logical series - Recognize geometrical shapes - Recognize numbers and count items from 1 to 10 - Identify similarities and differences - Identify objects with regard to size and color - Complete pictures - Etc. The program uses a set of 13 educational activities to teach young children. Each activity is designed to develop the child's basic skills in counting, recognition, logic, etc. At the zoo, Pulmo, the parrot visits the zoo animals, and learns by playing games with them. The animals provide game directions for the children, positive encouragement, and help for the child to learn the educational objectives. In the zoo, the following are some of the games that the children can play: - Color a Peacock's tail in order to learn how to form a logical series - Determine the size of fish to feed the Pelicans. - Determine the number of objects that are located in a Kangaroo's pouch - Match the spots on a giraffe's skin - Identify the animals swallowed by a snake. - Determine the bears clothes that will match his silhouette - Etc.
